There You Are, Little Star (Free Download) #dogadoption

One idea begets another one with me more often than not...

Welcome back one and all.

Every month, I like to give something away. Typically, it will be an item that has been out of circulation for a while, and more often than not, it is an item that was created, never used and archived. Sometimes I just like to create something unique for all of you, simply for the joy of it.

This month's free download is called There You Are, Little Star. It was inspired by the classic version of the song "Little Star" by early Rock and Roll and Doo Wop group The Elegants.

If this story sounds a little familiar, there is a reason for it.

This piece was originally conceived before last month's free download,  called No More Blue Moons. Inspired by the classic version of the song "Blue Moon" by early Rock and Roll and Doo Wop group The Marcels (originally by Jazz vocalist Billy Eckstine).

And, prior to that, the thing that got the whole ball rolling was "There's A Moon Out Tonight" by early Rock and Roll and Doo Wop group The Capri's. Who knows? We may make this a triptych...

Both pieces remind me of a choice my husbear Travis and I made just a little over ten years ago: adopting an older dog, Gypsy Pug. Pet adoption not only saves animal lives, research strongly suggests that owning a dog may help treat those with depression.

Love to you all. Here are some links you may find useful to keep up with us grown folks...
