Now For My Next Trick

originally posted on 24 September 2014

Autumn is here in the Pacific Northwest. The rain has now continued for two straight days, much to the relief of those of us who have baked all year long.

And, much like the drastic change in the climate his week, it seems my inbox is filling up considerably with job prospects.

As I expected, almost none of them are here in the Northwest. Have discussed this with the husband, and I may start taking contract positions around the country, leaving my home here in Beaverton. This also would entail me doing this alone, with hubby and Gypsy pug staying put until the contract is finished.

Not exactly the plan I had in mind a few months ago, but I need to be where the jobs are. And let me tell you again, they are not here, and when they are, they are still not here in terms of wage and benefit compensation.

Will keep you posted. For all you, the next blog post may come from Rhode Island. No, not making this up, either.

Love to you all.
